Air conditioner not turning on

The reverse cycle / split system air conditioning unit isn't turning on via the remote. Changed the batteries in the remote, checked main power/switch/cables to the unit, checked circuit breaker, can't find an on/off on the unit itself. I'm stumped and it's cold in here!

Don't give these guys your credit card. I had them come around and quote for an air-con repair and water heater install. The price was expensive but they insisted on using Bosch and erring on the side of larger, rather than smaller units. The job was urgent due to me travelling, and I made that clear and checked they could do it. No problem, so they took a 65% ($2,500) deposit. 2 days later they call telling me the parts didn't arrive in time so we cancelled the job and I was assured a refund would be coming my way. They never refunded. They don't answer their phone, they don't answer emails (I've had one email answered saying "we'll refund on the 26th" but nothing since) and they certainly seem to have no intention of refunding my money. I'm stunned that a company would act like this. Caveat Emptor.
