The reason I used Service Central was that I couldn't get someone to look at my mother's air-conditioner and I thought that Service Central's mission was to ensure that there was some prompt service. It was going to be two weeks for Electrician's Now to visit which was supposed to be on Monday 16th Feb. In the meantime, my family had to shift my mother out of her unit because of the hot weather and the fact that the A/C was not working. My mother died on the 16th. The time was rescheduled by them to the following day (17th) at 8 am. They didn't turn up and I had to call as I didn't get any contact from them to indicate that there was a problem. They said that the van had broken down in Mildura. The time was rescheduled to between 11 am and 1 pm on Thursday. On inquiring whether they were going to attend I was told that they were in Ballarat and that they would call when they were 1/2 hour away. I then got a call about 3 pm to say that they weren't going to make it and could we reschedule. I cancelled it and told them that I couldn't wait around. They might be good tradesmen but they can't run a business. Electricians Now? Yeah right
