Our airconditioner wall unit in the bedroom makes a lound erratic and intermitant noise. The noise sounds like a discharge of air pressure, rather like blowing a rasberry but more mechanical. This occurs even if our unit is switched off at the wall and unplugged. However, we suspect that it only occurs when our next door neighbour has thier unit swtiched on.
