The problems all started with a huge noise, caused by the fan breaking off it's shaft. Had a tech out to replace the fan & clean the system. Then found a further problem with the system. The system continually dumped water during operation. Suspecting that the problem may be with the Black box in the unit, he replaced it, however to no avail. He swapped the old Black box back in. Now, the vents do not even open up to let airflow in the house. I'm assuming that the weather seal has closed (for whatever reason), and can no longer be controlled by the Network Control Panel, therefore preventing air flow into the house. Also it is worth noting that I have several arrays of solar panels on the roof just below the air-conditioner. A Brivis service technician has recently rejected a request to repair the aircon due to Health & Safety concerns (ie: not enough space between the panels and the aricon), however two other techs (non Brivis) had no issues working on it.
