Hi I have a Bonaire Ultimate Evaporative Conditioner (probably made by Neutronics who went bankrupt) installed in 1996 and the remote control has died - some moisture got into the battery compartment and the little steel thingy at the bottom is a bit rusty and the wire linking the two springs on either side of it has broken - is it fixable? Otherwise I have to get a brand new remote/panel, etc costing about $900.
