Looking for quotes from a suitably qualified / registered person to inspect, repair / rehang all the evap cooling ductwork (8 points) .... also to service the evap cooling unit ... Brivis Contour L53.
The "straps" supporting the ductwork in the roof have broken numerous times since the Evap system was installed in August 2008. This causes the duct-work to collapse and rip away from the duct junction boxes and/or ceiling diffusers. The original installer has repaired the breaks under warranty, but, it keeps on happening, summer or winter.
I'm looking for someone who knows what they're doing to sort out the ductwork once and for all and provide a warranty on the work. At the moment (13-Jan 2016), one of the major ducts is broken away and just lying on the ceiling. Can email a photo.
The house is steel frame with colorbond roof.
Also, the evap cooler unit is due for it's regular service ... Brivis Contour L53
