Split system airconditioner has water dripping inside from the inside unit

Air con has been used for heating but now is first time being used for cooling this season and quite a bit of water continues to drip out of the front on the left hand side. Filters have been cleaned. Urgently want to use the unit in warmer weather. Is being used with a tub underneath to catch the drips but probably not very safe or convenient????
