The air conditioner when turned to heat starts to heat but the room temperature guage goes up to over 30 deg and then the unit thinks it is hot in the room and shuts down to only the fan is running. i think the thermastate may need replacing. all we know about the unit is that it is about 5 years old and it has a big dl on the front of it.
