Bosch dishwasher not working -not sure if it is machine or water flow issue

Bosch dishwasher has stopped working properly. Can hear water flowing and draining, and there is water hammer, but the machine wont go any further through a wash cycle. Red water supply light is on but all attempts to rectify problem useless (ie; cleaned filters, checked for kinks, etc). Not prepared to pay weekend rates.
