The door was closing but not too securely, no leaking but door could be open by simply pulling the door without using the handle.
Recently within dishwasher a black plastic section of a the internal door latch? broke. Now the door will not close securely at all. Taping the door shut with a piece of tape at the top allows the unit to operate.
