Chef electric oven and cooktop with 4 way simmer static control hot plates (approximately 20 years old). One of the hot plates stopped working some time ago due to an electrical shortage of some kind. The other 3 hot plates and the oven have continued to work just fine up until yesterday when I accidentally turned on the faulty hot plate, which has resulted in the entire appliance ceasing to work. We have a safety switch installed, which was tripped and now it will not switch back on again. Hence we need someone to look at the appliance and determine whether it can be fixed and whether it is cost effective to do so.
