Register appears to be locked somehow. I must've pressed some wrong programming buttons, won't even do a NS to eject drawer. I suspect it needs BIOS resetting (if it has one). I downloaded the manual to try and clear it but it fails. NO ERROR MESSAGE now. just beeps. Feed does work.
