I have a Samsung front loader its not spinning

samsung washing machine it will do a wash but when it comes to spin it doesnt i dont know if its draining properly as when i take the clothes out there is still water in the drum then i open up the filter part which is in the bottom right hand corner and i drain it myself then i put clothes back in then it spins but i have to do this every time
