Install Extension Outlet Hose to Maytag Dishwasher

I have a Maytag Dishwasher MJD2000AAW which requires a replacement Outlet hose which I have obtained. As the dishwash is about 3m from the Sink, I need an extension hose installed as well. (I do not have this extension and am unsure of the hose size.) Can a plumber assist in completing this job please. Mark
