Jazfit treadmill ignores input and runs only at very high speed.

The treadmill is under 5 years old and has started playing up recently. Firstly it wouldn't start at all, but then after exerting some pressure on the belt (the mat you walk on) it ran at VERY high speed. Managed to trick it into working by unplugging it and turning it on and off and few times, then never again turning it off...just using start and stop buttons. But tonight it hit 60minutes and went crazy...speeding up to a very high speed and wouldn't stop except for the emergency stop button. When I turned it back on it reverted to high speed and I could smell a burning smell.
Can someone help?
