Miele dishwasher - older model. Turn on dishwasher and it goes through the cycle but does not pump water into the washer. It is heating and can hear the machine trying to pump the water however...

My washing machine still works, but has become very noisy. it does get out of balance easy also. the last load didn't spin dry the clothes very well.
