LG Frontloader not unlocking after wash

I have an LG 7 kilo frontloader (about 2 years old) that will not unlock after the wash. even if i turn it off and leave it for anywhere between 15 minutes to 6 hours. I don't think its draining properly. i have openned the emergency draining at the bottom on the front and water pours out. even then, still won't unlock.
I need someone to come to my apartment and have a look at it ASAP (I have clothes stuck in there!).
