Miele G575 dishwasher won't switch off - pump just keeps running

Miele dishwasher repair required. Outlet/ drain hose split resulting in water leak and have replaced the hose. Think I had one or two good washes but now in the stop position the machine continues to make a grinding noise....it will pump water out (if water is put in the base) but will not fill up with water. The pump seems to just be continually running?!.
