Oven glass needs to be resealed

The seals around the glass of the oven require replacement. There is grease in between the layers of glass that indicate that there's a rupture in the seal. Can this grease be removed too as it looks unsightly? I'm happy for this work to be carried out any time on the 29th & 30th of June.
The oven light switch too is broken and need to be replaced.
