Polish scratches on kitchen sink and stovetop

Michael requested 3 quotes from Appliance Repairmen in Balwyn North

I have a good quality stainless steel kitchen sink and stove top (Blanco), both in a near-new condition. An abrasive pad was used to clean them, which resulted in local scratches. The scratches are very fine (if you draw your nail or finger across them, you won't feel any difference in surface quality), but they catch light and are quite visible. I want to repair the damage.

Questions:
- Is it possible to polish off this kind of light surface damage?
- Is it possible to fix just the spots where the damage has occurred, or the whole unit would need to be re-polished?
- Is the surface quality of the re-polished appliances going to be the same as the original?

Regards,
Michael
