Repair my MAX PRO treadmill

MAX PRO model TS1312FI has suddenly stopped driving the matt, message on the screen says E1 ... no speed signal feedback ...... it is a very heavy duty treadmill, about 5 years old., it has an elevated platform with heart monitor etc.
I can send digital photos from my iphone of the control panel plus the engine bay.
