Simpson sirocco 350 has stopped working. initially the sound changed it stopped whirring and has a clanking sound like something has broken off inside the dryer so i think the fan has stopped or something and now when i tried to use it again there is a burning smell and it heats up quickly and cuts out the power (due to its internal safety switch). its old - could not tell you how old however we have owned it since 2004 so is older than 2004. quote first and if it appears we need a new one will consider buying a new one as opposed to repairing if costly.
