plug car usb car charger into cigarette car socket. usb carger cable connects from usb car cigarette charger to the tomtom device socket. the device powers off intermittenly. a new cable has been tried without solving the problem. using a rubber band around cable to press connection upwards into usb connector on tomtom device works well. no problems. usb car cigarette charger and the usb cable charges other items ok. suspect usb connector on tom tom device not secure on tomtom board. no warranty. i can bring the item in for repair, no need to call out.
