WASHING MACHINE PUMP NOT WORKING

I HAVE A WASHING MACHINE THAT JUST DECIDED TO STOP PUMPING. EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS FINE, IT JUST DOESN'T PUMP, SO IT CANNOT CONTINUE THE CYCLE.
I AM CURRENTLY STICKING THE HOSE DOWN THE BATHROOM FLOOR DRAIN FOR THE WATER TO COME OUT.
I NEED TO KNOW IF IT'S CHEAPER TO REPAIR IT, OR BUY A NEW ONE.
I ONLY PAID $50 FOR IT SECOND HAND, BUT IT'S A GREAT MACHINE.
