I have a large top loading Maytag machine approximately 5 years old or less. I would prefer a repairer who has parts and can fix on first call out if possible. The problem is with the spin cycle. The machine is spinning but doesn't seem to work properly on first run through the cycle - it just stops when the water is empty. It seems it can't get up the gumption to spin the heavy load. If you rearrange the load and reset it on the spin cycle, it goes but it doesn't get much of the water out of the clothes at all. The machine has always been very loud and I thought it was 'broken' when I first got it, but my mother said Maytags are always loud. The machine is not under warranty and I would like a competitive quote please. Thanks.
