I have a Miele Novotronic W828 washing machine that has randomly been putting a residue on dark clothes (or maybe on all but you just notice it on the dark clothes) and sometimes what looks like little oil spots on the clothes. I've cleaned the filter and added a washing machine cleaner from the supermarket which may have reduced the residue a bit, but it's still not cleaning properly.
