I have a whirlpool cooktop phl394u. the right hand back element will not turn off. i thing the problem is in the control knob mechanism.
i noticed a noise coming from the control knob like there was a problem with a spring - a metalic sound.
i work full time so i would need a good idea of the time and date the serviceperson would be calling.
