We are planning a renovation on our house. I would like to get a builder to remove two internal walls, replace some windows, and a bit of tidying up. We also plan to relocate the kitchen from one spot to another.
Before we do this I need to have the plans drawn up so that I can explain accurately what I want the builder to do. I also need the plans drawn up so that I can get a building permit from the Moreland City Council.
We already know how we want the new space to look. However someone with a rough idea of what will work and what won't would be good. A very rough idea regarding the eventual cost of the job would be appreciated as well. However this will be a fairly modest renovation compared to most so we don't want anyone telling us that we need to spend $100,000 to get the house the way we want.
