I would like to knock down existing back room, build a new family room and bathroom toilet laundry area. The roof line needs to be lifted with perhaps a gable, the house is a 1925 bungalow with tiled roof.the ceilings in the main body of the house are 9 feet the new extension would incorporate the high ceilings. The existing roof drops off to about 6 foot at the back.The extension would be 8 meters wide by 7 to 9 meters and with a small verandah maybe 2 meters wide. This would make the roof line extended by 9 to 11 meters, could be bigger as there is a lawned area at the back of the house .
The side of the house is rendered on the exposed driveway side, and the other side has not been rendered, just the red brick which is only visible to the neighbors , so the walls do not have to be brick, maybe frames with blue board for rendering. I need a rough estimation , even if I could get an extension to lockup and complete the interior as money becomes available.
