BIG UPDATE: Service Central has a new Jobs Board

The Jobs Board needed an update to keep up with our rapidly growing marketplace. In particular, we needed to adapt to what modern tradespeople and local businesses expect in today's times. So what has changed?

Firstly, the new Jobs Board has been designed for businesses on the move. We know that you're not stuck in front of a computer all day long, so the new Jobs Board is designed to work on all of your devices. Whether you're using your smartphone, iPad, tablet, laptop computer or desktop computer, the new Jobs Board will resize to give you the perfect view. Plus all of the functions of sorting and accepting jobs are also available on all of your devices.

Secondly, we know that you're busy. You don't have time to sit around all day waiting for the latest Jobs to load. So we have made the new Jobs Board super fast, and provided you with the full details of each job right there in the Jobs Board - simply click a job and view its full details right from the jobs list. From the Jobs Board you can also accept the jobs that you would like, and are provided with a convenient link back to that job within your Provider Portal. Go and give it a try, you will be pleasantly surprised by how quick and easy it is.

Thirdly, filtering the jobs to find the exact jobs that you want for your business has never been easier. No longer are you confined to search for jobs Category by Category. Now you can create your own custom searches by adding in the Categories and Locations in which you are interested. Filtering is really easy, simply select the filter that you'd like to create (i.e. the Category Filter) and start typing in what you would like to filter by ... a drop down list will appear and you simply click on what you would like to filter by. To remove a filter just click on the X icon that is on the right of the filter name. Once you have created a filter that you like, you can also click on the little blue link icon that appears just above the filters, and save (or bookmark) that link for future use. That link will take you back to that exact same filter.

NOTE: The new filters only work when you're logged into your account. If you do not have an account, it's free to register your business and create an account.

Fourthly, and most importantly, accepting jobs is now much easier. Simply find a job that suits your business that is Available. Open that job up by clicking on its name and click on the green Accept this Job button. This exact same approach works on your iPhone, Android Phone, iPad, Tablet, Laptop computer and Desktop Computer. Once you have accepted a job you will be given a link to that job in your Provider Portal so that you can track your success with each new customer. Now how easy was that!
