Your garden fence may be in good nick, but a good solid fence can become boring after a while. Accessorise your garden with new post caps and give your fence a facelift.
A post cap is installed on top of each fence post - and post caps come in many different styles. A post cap can be aesthetic (adding colour or texture) or functional (wired with lighting).
Lighting in your post caps can be visually stimulating but can also help light your way to the compost heap or washing line when it's dark. Solar powered post caps are also available - they'll have small solar panels to light the light, so they gather energy during the day that's used at night.
Another cool idea is to have planter post caps - a basket for annuals or greenery to soften the harsh lines of your fence. Bird feeders are also a popular choice, but perhaps not on every post!
Speak to your local fencing expert about post caps or DIY - they can be excellent additions to your garden at a low cost.
