For that exact reason, our team has just put a whole lot of effort into completely redesigning how our website works for customers. The result? A brand new Consumer Portal! You can read all about it here - however, let's focus on what this change means for your business.
First of all, this update follows on from the recent improvement to the Get Quotes form. We believe that the easier that we make things for consumers, the more jobs they will post, and in turn the more work you will win.
Easier for Customers to tell who responded to their Jobs
In the new Consumer Portal your business logo now appears next to each job that you have responded to. For this reason, its really important that you have uploaded your businesses logo to Service Central. The businesses with a logo, or even the most professional looking logo, are giving themselves a better chance of impressing the customers and winning the work.

Easier for Customers to give you Feedback
The more 5 star Ratings that your business gets the more likely you are to win work. Feedback and Ratings help you demonstrate to customers that you are running your business with integrity and providing great customer service.
How do customers give you feedback?
Customers can now give Feedback by clicking on the Star Icon next to your Business Logo. From here they click on Give Feedback and fill out the Feedback Form. Where customers have ticked the box to say that you won a particular job, they can also provide you with a Star Rating for the work that you have completed.
Easier for Customers to add your business as Favourite
When a customer adds your business as a favourite, you’ll be first in the list to be notified of any jobs they post in the future. Just one more reason to provide great service and encourage customers to leave you feedback!
Customers can also call their Favourite businesses directly. So encouraging customers to add your business will help you win more repeat work.
How do customers add you as a Favourite?
It’s easy, all they need to do is click on the Heart button next to your business logo and you will instantly be added to their Favourites list.
