Kulula is a South African Airline with a sense of humour. Check out these photos of their planes for a laugh.
Thanks Marisa for sending in this series of photos for the Friday Funnies.
First launched in 2001, Kulula (meaning 'Easily' in Zulu) is a low fare airline based in Johannesburg with 12 planes running 325 flights per week.
Flying 101
This plane's design is an attempt to demystify air travel and planes in general. Handy arrows point out things such as the 'door', 'black box', 'stabiliser', 'rudder' and even the 'loo'.
This Way Up
Kulula think a plane is a bit like a giant box, so why not adorn that box with giant packaging-style diagrams? After all, planes carry some pretty precious cargo - US - so it makes sense to let people know which way up they ought to go!
Zippy
Like the name suggests, Zippy is one quick little plane! So quick, in fact, that its zip is coming undone!
Camo Plane
You won't see this one coming. With its groovy camouflage paint style, Kulula's camo plane will blend in with just about anything.
