September Job Results for Service Central
Another strong jobs month for Service Central with 4451 jobs for the month.
We have seen continuous growth across the last 3 months, posting 3999, 4107 and 4451 jobs respectively. It is great to see that the regular improvements being made to the site is converting more visitors into consumers posting jobs. We are looking forward to seeing this growth continue over the next few months.
Victoria posted a great result with 3025 new jobs in September. Up from 2613 jobs in August.
Queensland continued to grow with 643 new jobs posted in September. Up from 626 in August.
New South Wales saw a slight reduction in job numbers with 654 new jobs, down from 715 in August.
In regards to categories, the following services were our top 10 in September:
- Handyman: 396 jobs
- Plumbing: 380 jobs
- Insulation: 363 jobs --> Up from 185 jobs in August
- Electricians: 304 jobs
- Appliance Repairs: 228 jobs
- Fencing: 201 jobs --> Up from 164 jobs in August
- Landscraping: 185 jobs --> Up from 116 jobs in August
- Air Condining: 180 jobs
- Concreting: 170 jobs --> Up from 119 jobs in August
- Carpentry: 154 jobs
As you can see Insulation remains one of our fastest growing services. Also, as the weather warms up as we head towards summer the outdoor services like landscaping, concreting and fencing are becoming more and more popular.
In all, it was another fantastic month of growth for Service Central.
