As a high-end magazine that targets Australia’s aspirational home owners, they have high expectations of the tradespeople that will be representing their brand through the H&G Quick Quote App. This means that to receive work from House & Garden readers your business will need to meet the following standards.


1. You need to have a registered business or company with an active ABN

To ensure that only genuine businesses and companies have access to this work, you will need to provide your ABN. This ABN will be verified to ensure that it is registered to you, and that is it currently active.

2. You need to be Properly Qualified for the work you undertake.

To ensure that House & Garden Magazine’s high-end readers get access to only the best tradespeople, you need to provide proof that you are properly qualified for the work that you undertake.

3. You need to be Properly Insured

A minimum of $5m of public liability insurance is required.

4. You need to be a member of Service Central

Only businesses that have an active membership with Service Central will be able to access work coming from the H&G Quick Quote service. This means that you will need to meet the terms and conditions of a Service Central membership including abiding by the Service Central Code of Conduct.

5. You need to have an Income Guarantee membership with Service Central

As a key element of the alliance between Australian House & Garden Magazine and Service Central is that only Service Central members with an Income Guarantee membership are able to access the jobs posted by their readers.  This ensures that the businesses that are associated with the House & Garden network are properly Guaranteed a Return on Investment.

Members with an Income Guarantee membership will continue to receive access to new work from House & Garden and Service Central until they have won the Guaranteed value of work. For example, if you have taken out a $100,000 income guarantee membership, you will continue to receive access to new job opportunities until you have won $100,000 worth of work.
