What is epoxy grout?

Grout is used in tiling to fill between tiles and make tiling structures solid. Epoxy grout is the 'super' grout.

Epoxy grout is made from epoxy resins and a filler powder. It's hard, durable, and almost stain proof, and has impressive bonding capabilities - sometimes hardening to a material that's stronger than tiles. But, it's harder to use and has a slightly more plastic look and feel. It takes longer to cure and dry and so sometimes can sag while waiting to dry. Teflon can be added to epoxy grouts to make it stain proof and easy to clean.
