I own a recently renovated 1930s weatherboard. Currently the porch is supported by 2 wooden posts, which I would like to have brick peirs built around - "californian bungalow" sytle.
The porch concrete floor has subsided and will not be able to support new brick piers. So the floor may need to be cut for new footings to support the piers.
