Our fireplace was once used however, the previous owners installed a gas heater in its place. this was removed and gas turned off during our recent renos. we had the chimney swept however were advised that the brick work at the base of the fireplace needed to be rebuilt.
there is a garage backing onto our place which has a brick are. w ewould like to have this rendered in a colour to remove the current eye sore
