Depending on council approval (if required) we would like to replace a fence along the front of our property (about 15m long). it is near the road side (about 1.5 meters away) and behind it is a... Depending on council approval (if required) we would like to replace a fence along the front of our property (about 15m long). it is near the road side (about 1.5 meters away) and behind it is a 1-2 meter drop to where the front yard is. not sure if this job will require a retaining wall in behind the fence. we would like to put up rendered brick fence/wall to provide seclusion from the road, possibly with some areas cut out for some plants to soften the wall and probably soem headging behind the wall to create a garden feel from the front yeard. if council have a problem with this type of fence we would also consider a modern style picket fence. interested in getting a quote as we're planning and budgeting for this job.
