Remove a window and replace with a door

We would like to have an aluminium window frame removed from a brick wall in our garage, and have it replaced by a solid core door with a metal door jamb. This door will need to be removed from another wall in the same garage. The window is about half the height of the door.
We're hoping that the bricks being removed from the lower section of the wall below the window can be used to fill the top section of where the existing door after it has been removed, while the bottom section can be covered with blue board/cement sheeting. This is so we can have decking built to meet up to this "new wall" at a later stage, hence why the lower section does not need to be brick since it will be hidden below the decking.
