Restore 1920s Verandah piers (Roof is still OK)

I have 1920s Red Brick Californian Bungalow. Currently the verandah is supported by 2 wooden poles, which have rotten at the base. I'd like them replaced with brick piers. The verandah concrete floor has subsided and may not be able to support new brick piers. So the floor may need to be cut for new footings to support the piers.
