It is a one car garage (two car long) wide but I suspect it never had a rear. Garage was installed around 30yrs ago. Is finished in galvanised sheets. I would like to get a rear garage wall installed with door. Finish is galvanised sheeting. There is some gal sheeting which can be reused from the burnt out structure at rear but this is optional and of course may be more trouble than it is worth. Door would be standard height but perhaps wider than normal. (but a full door to cover whole of rear may also work depending on extra cost) Would need a lock preferably using a full lockwood lock. (I will get it matched to other door locks at a later time) This is a rental property so access would need to be arranged with McLennan RealEstate Dandenong Beth Tuyau , Senior Property Manager Ph: 9 7 9 1 5 9 2 2 but I do think this will be difficult.
Building permit for garage was issued many years around 1978 and I dod notn know if a new one is required. If it was I would most likely not proceed.
