Building Repairs to Storm Damaged Apartment
Emily requested 3 quotes from Builders in Armadale
Over the weekend had some water enter the apartment from the Melbourne Storms. Had the same issues in the March 2010 Hail Storm so gather the same types of things will need to be fixed:
- Around 5 square meters of floor boards need to be ripped up and new flood boards installed
- 2 small parts of roof edging fallen down and smashed so need to be replaced
- Slight buckling of walls - will need to be sanded back
- Painting Hallway, Living room/kitchen area and bathroom to cover small water marks
- 2 downlights no longer working due to water - will need replacing
At this stage need a couple of quotes to take to the insurers.
