We have one house that has been built in underneath so it is now 2 separate dwellings.
We bought it like this and are now trying to get appropriate approvals done.
To apply for dual occupancy we need to meet fire separation regulations between top and bottom dwellings.
I need a builder who understands what is required to meet the 60/60 fire rating we need including replacing existing gyprock with fire rated gyprock plus any gap preparations??
