I have plans drawn up to extend and renovate my 30 year old 3 bedroom brick veneer home. At the moment I am looking to get quotes to see if I can afford to get the extension done or not, and if so, I will continue from there with permits etc. Currently the house is 3 bedroom, one bathroom and one living area. The extension/renovation would change the existing living room into the master bedroom with ensuite, the existing meals area would become the laundry, the existing kitchen & laundry would be extended on to become a new living area, and the back of the house would be extended on to become the new kitchen & meals area.
