House extension

Are planning a house extension on two ends of the house, and are currently at infant stages of planning a budget and options for the build. We welcome builders, building firms or building consultants who are willing to visit us to discuss our options and recommend anything based on their professional experience, we are willing to pay builders for their time and quote (estimate). It would be two separate jobs/quotes and we have our own plans/drafts (nice and presentable) to assist, these will be presented on site visit. We do not wish to have professional architectural drafts done until we consult options and ball park costs with a builder first.
Both projects will require planning permits with bushfire management overlay part of planning and building permits.
Extension 1 is a single room 2nd storey extension that is located above a existing room that has adequate foundation however this would need to be confirmed. Current roof (base for extension) is a flat decking, not a pitched roof.
Extension 2 is replacing an existing carport with a garage and single room on top of the garage. Garage is to be brick.
