I want to convert part of the garage into a bedroom

Our house has a large carport under the existing roofline where I want to convert half the space into a bedroom. This will involve putting up 3 external walls as well as opening up an existing stud wall for a doorway. A window to match the existing house may also be needed. A tricky part of the build is that I need to extend the room out under an existing balcony by about 1m without pulling the balcony down.
