New fence and slats removed from a raised Queenslander

There are 2 parts to this job: the first is to replace and build a very basic wooden fence about 10m long at the end of the garden. The fence should be about 2.5m high but the contractor should have knowledge of the latest QLD pool fencing laws as this fence will act as a boundary to a pool.
The second is to cut down some pre-existing slats from the back of underneath part of our raised Queenslander. This is to open up a basic patio area.
