Raise up the sunken floor in the lounge room to stop stormwater ingress

Kevin requested 3 quotes from Builders in Little Bay

The concrete slab in the lounge room (lowest point in house) sits below the stormwater level, meaning the carpet and furniture is regularly flooded. I have been advised to fill in and raise up the lounge room so that it is level with the rest of the house. The gyprock walls will also need to be shortened to the new room height. Some outdoor work to redirect the water runoff may also be desirable.
