Remove a load-bearing wall (it has a second storey above) and insert beam as per engineer's design (already done) to open up the back of our post-war house. Seal off another room and make good all plaster, cornices etc. Prepare openings for new aluminium doors and window at the rear of the house.

When he says something will get done, it does. If something worries you, he takes care of it. If something’s not working, he fixes it. Always happy, always in charge and always on top of what needs to be done. Working with him, we achieved a great result on our house and at what I consider extremely good value for money. Frank went above and beyond the call of duty on our job. You hear horror stories of what can go wrong with renovations or building work but this was the opposite. It was actually an enjoyable experience and that’s because of Frank. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who is looking for a builder.
